HydroSpeed suits are comprised of Scalex fabric which was developed to address the growing need for a custom, aquatic-specific fabric that allows for keen awareness of body movement and flexibility, yet sacrifices nothing when it comes to speed. Scalex material is hollow-core, which allows for less water
absorption and makes HydroSpeed suits lighter and faster. A high-density knit of thinly stretched polyester (82%) and Lycra (18%) allows for a higher thread count, making the suit comfortable to wear. An embossed, scale-like finish and additional water-repellant characteristics further reduce drag for increased speed.
